Day 15: Give Thanks For Your Life
“If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough.” ~ Meister Eckhart
We are 19 days away from entering the year 2018, and today all I can think about are those who didn't make it that far. Those who aren't alive right now to read this post, to hug a loved one, or to complain about another monday at work. Yet, here we are, you and I, taking another breath, without realizing how blessed we are.
Today I just want to thank my creator for choosing to let me still be here. I don't know why God chose to bring me into this earth but I am glad that he did. 29 Years ago, he chose the most loving and caring parents for me, gave me the gift of having a family and having the opportunity to grow in a loving household. No matter the obstacle that tried to stop me entering this earth, it didn't come to fruition. God aligned the right people, doctors, nurses, friends, family members, teachers, caregivers, to get me to be here at this present moment. Today I just want to give thanks for my life. For this gift not given to so many, yet for reasons beyond my understand, it has been given to me. I may not say it enough, I may act ungrateful at times, but from the bottom of my heart, I thank you precious father.
You assignment today is simply to give thanks for your life. Your most precious and priceless gift.
